WHO WILL WIN THE INNOVATORS AWARD 2024?

The Offshore Wind Innovators Award is intended to create exposure for the finalists and winner(s) to potential customers, partners and investors.

WHO ARE ELIGIBLE?

The award is intended for Dutch SME entrepreneurs active in offshore energy. The award consists of a jury award and a public award.

THE PROCESS

The organization will treat entries confidentially. From all submissions, the jury selects three nominees. The nominees are invited to pitch their innovation to the offshore wind sector during an event. After the presentation, the audience will decide who will receive the public award.

Separately, the jury announces who wins the jury award. In addition to creating awareness for the top of the offshore wind industry, the nominees can count on the necessary publicity before and after the award ceremony.

The jury members are representatives of:

• The offshore wind industry
• The financial sector
• The research and development sector

In Q1 the Finals of the Offshore Wind Innovators Award will take place during the famous Siemens Gamesa Van Oord Qmeeting @ Van Oord!

Jan-Joost Schouten Deltares Jan-Joost has 20 years of experience in offshore wind and coastal projects, currently leading 30 specialists at Deltares in Hydrodynamics & Offshore Technologies. Huub den Rooijen ORE Catapult Huub has led the delivery of the first offshore windfarms in the UK and the Netherlands. Now, he is the board of UK’s technology centre Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult. Lex Roukens Move Energy Lex is experienced in business development, investments, and corporate finance. At Move Energy, he's Managing Partner focusing on energy transition.
