New possibilities to test and demonstrate offshore wind innovations
On September 5, offshore wind entrepreneurs can show their interest in testing or demonstrating their innovations at the Rotterdam Offshore Center Maasvlakte 2.
Following the significant scale-up the offshore wind industry currently is making, a lot of new offshore products and services are developed. Simultaneously this has developed an increasing demand from these businesses to test and demonstrate new innovations before these are used on the market.
Recently this received an additional boost with the launch of the Rotterdam Offshore Center Maasvlakte 2. And connects with the ambition of the Port of Rotterdam to develop this area into the offshore hub of Europe.
During the upcoming seminar on September 5th, the possibilities to test and demonstrate your offshore wind innovations or to relocate to this area are explained. Amongst others by business currently already active in the area. Secondly an overview will be presented on the regional and national R&D-facilities and development.
