Meet the jury of the Offshore Wind Innovators Award
Once again we organise the Offshore Wind Innovators Award. Our jury will select the most innovative SME company in the offshore wind sector of 2021. This year Glenn Bijvoets (Eneco), Jasper Geselschap (innovation Quarter) and Peter Eecen (TNO) are the members of the jury.
Glenn Bijvoets is an innovation leader in the strategy team of Eneco and is responsible for strategic innovation analysis on energy technologies and setting up startup collaborations across the organization on energy technology. Before Glenn Bijvoets joined Eneco, he worked at Rabobank, Robeco and the TU Delft, where he was active in the fields of strategy, marketing, innovation, and valorisation.
Jasper Geselschap is an experienced VC Investment Manager focusing on Energy transition Always looking for impactful technologies and business models. Analytical mindset with an ability to see value and potential in early-stage start-ups. Long term professional career in corporate finance transactions and supporting a wide variety of entrepreneurs. Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and closing investments in Energy ventures.
Peter Eecen is the R&D manager at TNO Wind Energy and is responsible for the research strategy on offshore wind energy for a group of about 55 researchers. As R&D manager Peter is responsible to develop the knowledge and technology portfolio of the wind energy department and shaping the R&D programme such that products are developed and – together with colleagues and collaborators – are brought to the market. As such, Peter is responsible for the commitment of the TNO research funding, the acquisition of projects in national programmes and European programmes. Peter is the coordinator of the EERA Joint Programme on Wind Energy.
