Call for partners for the 6th Innovation Challenge
The fifth edition of the Offshore Wind Innovation Challenge has officially started! However, we are open to receiving new challenges. For this, we are on a search for leading offshore wind companies and organizations looking for an innovative solution to challenges they face during their offshore wind-related activities.
Do you have a challenge that could use an innovative and creative solution? Are you looking for new technologies and do you want to connect with start-ups? Please, contact us to submit a Challenge for the Offshore Wind Innovation Challenge 2022.
See what the Offshore Wind Innovation Challenge can mean for you:
To realise one of the largest infrastructural developments in Dutch history, the offshore wind industry must make offshore wind even more affordable, reliable and sustainable. Advancing technical innovation and implementing it into the offshore wind market will give offshore wind a even better position in the energy system, both in the Netherlands and on an international level.
This is the foundation for the Offshore Wind Innovation Challenge of 2021 and this is why we call for challenges presented by companies. The challenges will offer SME’s, R&D organisations, and start-ups in Europe the opportunity to come up with innovative solutions for these challenges. The objective of this cooperation is to connect the companies that are looking for out-of-the-box solutions with innovators that can present the solution the industry is looking for.
Save time and money on a time-consuming process of problem-solving and innovation on topics, to find excellent and innovative solutions to your challenge just like Van Oord, TKI Wind op Zee, SeaZip, De Rijke Noordzee, Deutsche Windtechnik and Gemini did in previous editions.
With a track record of challenges such as finding long-life CTV fenders, optimize bubble curtains to Reduce Noise Emission and Efficient Biodiversity Monitoring, the success of the Offshore Wind Innovation Challenge has become an annual process for the Dutch offshore wind industry. Multiple solutions have been implemented since the start of the challenge. In 2019 an ingenious bubble curtain to damp piling sound and artificial reefs were solutions that helped the leading companies. In 2020 solutions for fully biodegradable reef structures and efficient underwater monitoring were presented.
Is your challenge going to be solved in 2022?
Please, contact us for more information and to see how we can create a fitting challenge for you.
